John Letters - Golden Goose Putter (GG3)
The History Of Golden Goose:- In 1946, John Letters introduced the Golden Goose putter. It is always a matter of dispute which came first - The Golden Goose or the Bullseye - but, whichever way round, they were destined to dominate the game on their respective sides of the Atlantic for the next twenty years. During the ‘40s and ‘50s in Europe, it was very difficult to find any player of note who did not carry a Golden Goose putter, even today’s great exponents of the putting game continue to use the putter to their benefit.
Each John Letters Golden Goose putter head is crafted from a 303 Stainless Steel, which was chosen by the John Letters design team due to it's unique properties of durability and soft feel.
The easy to align, semi-mallet head shape of the Golden Goose GG3 gives a simple visual aid to increase accuracy, whilst the heel and toe, cavity back weighting increases forgiveness.
The 303 Stainless Steel is also highly machinable enabling an incredibly accurate and precise CNC milling process to be used on the face, creating a perfectly flat surface for the ultimate in consistency.
The face of Each Golden Goose putter features the incredible 'Roll It' technology. The highly complex milling process creates a pattern on the face of the putter, which grips the ball and gets it rolling straight from impact and avoiding the inconsistencies of the ball skidding across the putting surface.
'Roll It' groove face technology will improve every golfers distance control and accuracy on the green, meaning more holed putts and lower scores!
The Oil Can finish gives a premium, clean and classic look and reduces glare so your concentration is not distracted by glare from the Sun.
Each John Letters Golden Goose putter is fitted with a bespoke, Limited Edition Gold, Golf Pride paddle putter grip as standard.
The matching John Letters headcover with magnetic ball marker is included FREE when you place your order through the website.
